Micah Blevins
About
Micah was born and raised in Jonesborough, TN. They developed a love for the theater in high school where they performed on stage and worked behind the scenes. Taking every theater class offered in their high school multiple times, Micah built sets, ran lights and sound, and developed a love for stage managing. Given many opportunities by their high school theater director, they began developing their skills for leadership off stage.
Following high school, Micah attended East Tennessee State University double majoring in Media Communications and Theatre Production. In their sophomore year, Micah was given their first opportunity to assistant stage manage the production, Heathers, and their career path unfolded before them. They have since stage managed ETSU’s productions of Cabaret and Carrie: The Musical, and been involved building sets, and assistant stage managing in several additional productions as well.
In May, Micah graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Production and a Bachelor of Science in Media Communication with an emphasis in radio, television, and film.
Micah currently lives in Johnson City, TN and works part time at the ETSU Martin Center for Performing Arts.
